Notification Groups
Notification Groups is how you target specific team members with alerts.
When an alert is raised, it's possible to notify the team members of one or more groups by email and/or by "tagging" them with the alert.
This type of notification is pretty simple: It simply means that the affected team members receive an email with a notification that an alert was triggered.
This type of notification means that the alert will show up in the count of active alerts to the left in the user's sidebar, thus drawing the user's attention towards the fact that there's an active alert.
