Release 2.45 - Compatible with U150
11 new methods, 2 modified, no changes to biglobby methods.
U150 introduces desync improvements to the game. It has alse changed network methods that increase the supported players of 4 to 15. While BigLobby can support much larger(128 by default), Overkill now has official support for 15 players in a lobby which will be good for most players needs.
What this means is the requirement for pdmod could be removed and updates of the game are far less likely to break BigLobby. It may also be possible to only require a host with the mod, I am investigating this.
However, at present Overkill has only updated 36 out of the 41 total current network methods that affect player count. The following methods also need to be updated before pdmod can be fully removed:
- draw_preplanning_event
- sync_equipment_possession
- sync_remove_equipment_possession
- sync_statistics_result
- server_give_vehicle_loot_to_player
