Over the past few years the rate at which game applications game applications have been advancing has increased rapidly. There are many applications that have been released on the market that serve a variety of purposes. A game could either be intended for entertainment or education. The purpose of a game is most often defined by the application builder.
We decided to come up with a simple but very educative history game called “Know Africa”. “Know Africa” is an educational game application which will be aimed at teaching the player basic history about Africa. The requirements specification and subsequent design and implementation of the “Know Africa” game application will also be developed by the group as well. This document contains the detailed requirement for “know Africa” that is being developed. This document should serve as the official for any further development of the “Know Africa” game application.
Know Africa, a new system that will thrill, entertain and leave the user wanting more, providing full functionality with quick response time and a well-structured interface with the latest graphics. It is a new creation that is going to be implemented for the first time by the group. The proposed system will have the following merits outlined below:
- Allows user full functionality and freedom.
- System is user friendly, functionality is well defined.
- System is educational.
- System provides quick response time.
- System will be clear and sensitive to user needs.
