## Wireless Adaptor Setup
A popular wireless adaptor is [Alfa AWUS036ACH](https://www.alfa.com.tw/products/awus036ach?variant=36473965871176). After plugging in the device, check that OS has recognized it with:

```

You will need to install the [drivers](https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au) for this device to be able to see it with `airmon-ng` or `iwconfig`. Follow these steps:
```bash
cd /tmp
git clone https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.git
cd rtl8812au
sudo make -j 3
sudo make install
```

You should now see 2 wireless adaptors from the `iwconfig` command. (one is the built-in wifi card, and one the Alfa).
If the name for the Alfa card is not `wlan0` (in my case it was wlx00c0cab08e97) you can change it by:
```bash
ip link set <OLD_NAME> down
ip link set <OLD_NAME> name wlan0
ip link set wlan0 up
```
