Hello world! I am Willie169, Willie Shen, or 沈威宇, a 18-year-old, 12th-grade senior high school student in Taiwan.
I am the Chef Programming Officer of PythonIsSlowOrg, the former Assistant Professor of the Zhi-Chan School of the Chinese Classics Culture Education Association of Taiwan (TACLASSICS), and the former Chief Editor of the CSJ Literature Group.
The languages I use most often are Traditional Chinese (native, main), English (main), C/C++ (main), JavaScript, Java, Python, Shell, LaTaX (main), and HTML.
One of my best projects is Android Non Root, which has three versions HTML, Markdown, and App. It is a tutorial that explores a range of powerful, open-source tools such as Termux, F-Droid, Shizuku, Tor, TrackerControl, InviZible Pro, and PipePipe to enhance your Android device’s functionality, security, privacy, and customization without the need for root access.
Secondly, my termux-sh project contains setup Shell scripts and related files for automating the configuration of Termux, a terminal emulator for Android. The scripts facilitate the installation of essential tools, environment configurations, proot distributions, QEMU virtual machines, and related setups. I am still working on it to make it more modular and customizable.
Also, I've made some contributions about LaTeX:
- LaTeX-ToolKit: a LaTeX template for XeTeX and LuaTeX with CJK support, fonts settings, custom commands, shorthands, and patches, and other utilities.
- physics-patch: a LaTeX package that provides patches for
physics
package.
Some studies I am proud of are:
- tw-gifted-k12-notes: notes on Taiwan's senior high school curriculum subjects and its extended fields made with LaTeX and available in PDF.
- tw-options-and-futures-analysis-and-rnn-pricing: a study on the deep learning pricing model of Taiwan's issue-weighted stock price index, its futures and options, and other economic and interest rate data.
- PID and its site: an advanced PID controller designed to regulate the speed of an Arduino auto-following kart with a leader robot with a car simulation, a testing and optimizing framework, and an Arduino practice. The content of its site is outdated and stop being updated. Please refer to the PDFs in it for latest updates.
Later comes the board game Mancala, I've made an Android app version: mancala-android, and a CLI version: mancala-cli.
Besides, I've made some contributions to open source projects such as grammars-v4, sshx, and MCP-Bridge.
Lastly, some of my other works include:
- MarkdownToLatexConverter: a NPM package converting Markdown to LaTeX.
- github-link-converter-downloader and its site: a NPM package and a site for GitHub link format converting and downloading files on GitHub.
- format-converter: JavaScripts for mark-up language converting and more.
- termuxrunner: an Android app that serves as an alternative frontend for Termux that ignores output for simplicity.
My favorite subjects are computer science, information engineering, electrical engineering, economics, finance, physics, and mathematics.
I am interested in algorithmic investment management about stocks, futures, foreign exchange, cryptocurrency, and financial derivatives. I now mostly use recursive neural network and reinforcement learning and practice by trading simulation of items on TWSE, TPEx, and TAIFEX.
I enjoy playing webDiplomacy, Chinese chess (Xiang-qi), and chess, watching anime, reading, writing, and coding in my free time.
