How can I keep image tags/likes across file moves? #754
-
Is there any mechanism that allows me to retain image information such as likes when I rename the I guess I could write a script to open the SQLite db and change the paths there while the app is not running, but I hope there's a simpler way. Thanks for your help. |

Thanks! This is exactly what I need.
How do I access that? When I drag a folder or image, I just see "add to comparison". |

Thanks, I got it working with the two side by side panes! If anyone has the same question: In the "new tab" view, I right clicked on a folder under "Normal / Fixed Mode", selected "Open to the side", then navigated into the folder where the images should end up. Then select the images in the left pane and drag-drop them into the right pane. (Dragging them onto a folder icon does apparently not place them into that folder. You need to enter the folder first.) The Copy To/Move To menu doesn't show subfolders so that didn't work for me. I realize now I could manually add the subfolder to the "Normal / Fixed mode" panel, but that would get tedious for many moves across many different subfolders. Maybe adding ">" symbols to further unfold submenus would be a nice addition. |
