We never ask upstream for approval. There’s no point—either the cask works and can be accepted or it can’t.
If you use an RSS reader, you can subscribe to https://github.com/vineetchoudhary/Downloader-for-Apple-Developers/releases.atom, or use a service like https://blogtrottr.com/ to convert those to emails. @vineetchoudhary The app bundle’s name is a bit problematic for us. We have a strict token reference to avoid duplicates, and the current name is incredibly generic from a relatively unpopular repo. That's probably too long and it'll get truncated in LaunchPad. I'd suggest something like "Apple Dev Downloader" or "Developer Downloader" for the display name or bundle name. |
