Improve zooming behavior #97

Currently there is only possibility to zoom in and out via the status bar.

It would be great if one could also zoom in and out via mouse and touchpad.

control + scroll wheel
control + up and down touch pad
pinch and zoom on touch pad (if possible)
provide a magnifier with slider in the status bar as a replacement for simplified handling of zooming
