My main work is empowering others.

No matter if in the context of projects, conferences, giving public talks, or mentoring people, my focus is to help others become better.

For more than two decades, I have been working on building and shepherding communities; to have a safe and positive space for collaboration, no matter who you are.

In previous lives, I made mainframe databases run, helped bring a startup from 60k€ to 100M€ in valuation within ten years, built extensive high-reliability networks, and built a datacenter from scratch.
