The macOS-12 environment is deprecated, consider switching to macOS-13, macOS-14 (macos-latest) or macOS-15. For more details, see actions/runner-images#10721

macos-12 just is now unsupported and will cancel all jobs. If I am correct, Thot needs to be updated to work on the newer macOS.

macOS-13 is the winner. We can avoid ARM64 for the time being.
