@SingLeaff hello, you can try to restrict maximum frequency in windows power plan settings. But as far as I know many modern CPUs ignore that anyway. Why do you want to limit frequency specifically ? Better limit total CPU power if you want to tackle heat / power consumption. |

my CPU is ryzen7 6800H
base clock is 3.2 Ghz
When I use cpu boost, the clock is over 4.0 Ghz. This makes my games run better but the laptop much hotter (about 91-93 degrees)
turn off cpu boost will make it go to base clock which is 3.2 and the temperture will reduce to around 70-75 degrees
Is there any way to use cpu boost but less amount? I want my CPU to run around 3.5-3.8 Ghz
