Hello! i just realised that with the newest update the backup typeformat changed from .json to .backup. is there a way to still use a .json file? I made my last backup before the update and it would be nice to not have to redo my work. Not sure if this is the right place for this but i didnt find anything else. thanks in advance! |

There were some issues with JSON backups being corrupted; backups are now encoded as binary. You can try restoring your backup using the version of the app you used to create them, but they aren't compatible with the current version of the app or any future versions. You can always go back to an older version by adding a query parameter to the end of the URL like https://ogres.app/play/?r=v0.1.30 Sorry for the inconvenience, one of the dependencies I used to create backup files had a pretty bad bug which I failed to catch before people started using the feature 😬. Good news is, the new binary backups are much smaller when theres lots of images included. |
