Despite the issues around it: this program looks better than Gnome Chess grayish self.
It doesn't need to deal with cutechess's insanely long setting menu, either.
And I deeply in love with the pieces(2d/3d), the table, the colored bar... and the smooth hover animation!
However, it has some strange moves, and not one.
Pieces become statue after taking 1 step, king transformed into a pawn, bishop possessed by a pawn, knights sleeping on their horses... and friendly-fire, pawns ignoring their hit-range, even the king could stay in rocket fire.
So I might just make my first app & task to improve the somewhat messy logic....
And here begins, story of an another indie coder/programmer.
Still, thank you for making a minimalist chess app: giving hope for a beautiful future!
I'm almost sorry for experience apps with elementaryOS design so late.
Sincerely
