I've opened https://github.com/jasonkriss/ember-scroll-to/pull/25 which addresses a bug that can occur when you overwrite the scrollable element with an element that is not the same since as the document, this change fixes that specific instance without changing the behavior otherwise.

This was fixed in 0.5.4
