Try version 4.1.9.1. The latest versions have known networking issues. If it doesn’t work even with that version, try enabling “Use different ports on each startup” option and restart the client. |

Any security program that might be blocking it? |

Not running any firewalls or what not. I disabled the one in Windows with the same result. Then borrowed a buddies VPN and everything started working in two seconds. Maybe it is a firewall/router configuration issue after all? |

What error message do you see in the trackers tab? |

"Not working". This is the same for public and private trackers, all of which start to work immediately after the VPN is enabled. |

Not a firewall issue, because other applications are able to connect without any issues. |

Several 4.2.x releases (or all of them?) had such problems. I haven't observed such issues in 4.3.x releases, and I've seen a HUGE decrease in such reports since the 4.2.x days. Also, please don't recommend using older versions. They have other known problems and reports filed against them are useless to contributors. Users should always use the latest version (unless it really has some catastrophic bug, but in that case a hotfix is generally released quickly anyway), report bugs to the best of their ability, and, if they have the ability and willingness to do so, help in fixing those bugs. |

Sounds like a network misconfiguration on your end then, either on your system or qBittorrent settings. In the latter case, try uninstalling, removing the settings completely (https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions#Where_does_qBittorrent_save_its_settings, backup your .fastresumes to keep the torrents) and installing again. Anyway, moving to discussions as this is more of a support thread than a bug report. |
