Distance & Color Sensor Observations

I been running some tests with the Spike Prime Color and Distance sensors and this is what I've observed:

1. the minimum distance that the distance sensors can detect is between 35mm-43mm but its reports no less than 40mm
2. the color sensors can work out to about 45mm at best but usually closer to 40mm
3. the distance sensor returns 40 as the min distance it sees but if only both sensors are blocked otherwise it likely report distance as 2000

do others see similar results?
