Crashing after 24.7.11 > 24.7.12 Upgrade – memory usage keeps increasing until crash

Describe the bug

After an Upgrade to 24.7.12, opnsense is crashing hard after 2 or 3 days of running normally.

The console posts the following logs every other second:

[fib_algo] inet6.0 (radix6_lockless#8159353) rebuild_fd: sync rebuild failed
[fib_algo] inet6.0 setup_fd_instance: radix6_lockless algo instance setup failed, failure=XXXXXXX

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Update to 24.7.12
2. Wait 2 days

Expected behavior

opnsense is running (as it did many months before)

Additional context

The hardware has 4 GB of memory which was enough in the last months (is running since 2020 without issues)
After the update I see a unusual high amout of memory usage
Maybe it's reachin 100% usage and crasing - not jey confirmed - needs confirmation (I will report on this)

Environment

OPNsense 24.7.12
4 Cores x86-64-v2-AES on an proxmox server
4 BG RAM

I can confirm - it's related to the memory usage.
After a reboot, the memory usage is 19% - it get's higher and higher every hour - until it reaches 100% after some hours and then opnsense is crashing.

Any idea how I can find out which process is consuming the memory?
System -> Diagnostics -> Activity didn't showned any process with very high memory usage.

So, The memory runs full, and then it goes to hell.

Can anyone help to find out, what is causing this higher memory consumption since the last firmware update?

Over the weekend, I setup a new instaance. (Hope was that a new machine with a restore of the backup of the old machine would not show this problem).

I installed a new opnsense instance from the current downloaded ISO image. The memory consumption was stable. After an update to the latest firmware version, the memory consumption is raising again. This is very strange.
