Important notices

Before you add a new report, we ask you kindly to acknowledge the following:

Describe the bug

On OPNsense 24.7.11_2-amd64,

When we add, or remove routes from /ui/routes, the webgui crashes and becomes unresponsive. Requiring a reboot of the instance

This also happens when syncing to the HA pair. So if i sync my new configs from A -> B, B's web gui will crash. (A does not crash in this instance)

On start up, the route configuration looks fine (saved correctly)

This is an almost new pair of servers. We got our first IPSec tunnels actually working this week, but prior had not touched much

To Reproduce

We are able to reproduce this by simple adding or deleting routes, or syncing HA

Expected behavior

Crashes should not be occuring

Describe alternatives you considered

After reading the CONTRIBUTING.MD, I see there is an option to try rolling back versions. I could attempt this if desired.

Screenshots

Relevant log files

I've looked through the logs in the UI but dont see anything stick out. Let me know if you'd like me to look somewhere specific

Environment

Some more info, current state is DOWN after deleting a route

(Note, I've purposely blocked out IP/domain information)

Image

Looking at the firewall log, i appear to be seeing traffic still

I dont see any errors in /var/log/system/latest.log

Image

I dont see any web services running, although im not 100% sure what daemon this runs

Image

From the TUI, I chose option 11 to reload all services - The web UI remains unavailable

After a full reboot (Option 6), all services are restored.
