This looks like a great project! Are health inspections public record in Sacramento?

Hi @masyukun, yes they are public record. Check out the food safety project I did for the hack4sacco event which includes the powerpoint presentation used for the judging presentations (which references chicago's data science application for this purpose).

According to the README, the following datasets are needed to power the algorithm:

  • Business Licenses
  • Food Inspections
  • Crime
  • Garbage Cart Complaints
  • Sanitation Complaints
  • Weather
  • Sanitarian Information
