When an administrator tries to delete an existing path of an allready in Tobira integrated Series the error message "The series path could not be removed" does appear and the path is still there.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have a Opencast series that got integrated in Tobira using the Opencast Admin-UI.
  2. Open the series details of this series and switch to the tab "Tobira".
  3. Hit on the "X" icon ("Remove path") and "Confirm" the removing of this path.
  4. See the error message.

I suspect that you need to update Opencast in order for this to work again. I had to do some additional changes to the Tobira API, I'll need to check in which version they got added.

Update: The changes I made were merged in mid december, but are unfortunately not in any release yet. They should be included in the next 17.x and 16.x releases.
Edit: Probably not in OC 16 as that likely won't be getting any more Admin UI releases.

Ok, sorry for spamming here, but I'm kind of invested in this. It is also possible or likely that you rather need to update Tobira (if you're using a version below 2.11) instead of OC.

@owi92, is this still open? Or does Tobira 3.0 remedy this?

This seems to be an issue specific to Bern's setup. Therefore I don't think it's something that would be fixed by code changes in Tobira, Opencast or the Admin UI, but rather in their setup.
However, if you or Melanie at the ETH are experiencing the same, I'd need to take a closer look. As it stands now, everything should be working. @dagraf, have you tested this again?

Not yet. I will first ask @snoesberger to update our test systems to the latest versions.
