Shared volume not accessible in Nextcloud AIO child containers

Description

I am running Nextcloud All-in-One (v9.8.0) on a Debian-based host system. The main issue is that a shared volume is accessible in the nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer but not in the child containers, specifically nextcloud-aio-nextcloud.

Steps to reproduce

1. Configure dokcer-compose file with with target (/mnt/Docs/Media:/mnt/media, - NEXTCLOUD_MOUNT=/mnt/media)
2. Start Master-Container
3. Start the other containers

Expected behavior

The mounted directory (/mnt/media) should be accessible in both the master and child containers.

Actual behavior

A directory (/mnt/media) is mounted to the nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer and works as expected. However, the same directory is not accessible in the child container (nextcloud-aio-nextcloud), even though it is configured as per the documentation.

Hi, this is not how this works. You are overthinking this.

NEXTCLOUD_MOUNT=/mnt/media

The chosen directory here gets directly bind-mounted from the host that runs docker and aio into the nextcloud container.

@szaimen Hey, I know the folder gets mounted from the host. However, I can only access the /mnt/media folder in the nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer container. I don’t have access to that folder in the nextcloud-aio-nextcloud container, which is where the actual Nextcloud instance is running?

As a result, I can’t access /mnt/media via external storage.

Did you restart the containers via the aio interface already? Only then the changes will be applied to the sibling containers

Yes, I did stop and start the containers multiple times using the AIO interface. I tried restarting the mastercontainer and the host, but it didn’t help.
