Preview button has disappeared on MODX 3.1.0

Not sure if this is a Preview or a MODX issue, but after updating a site to MODX 3.1.0 and Preview to 1.4.1, the preview button has gone missing. I reinstalled Preview but no change.

Additionally, the regular View button gets turned into nothing but an arrow, which is very confusing for my clients. They don't know what it means. Reverting to Preview 1.3.0 restores the View button to text, but the Preview button still does not appear.

I'll need to test it with the latest MODX.
Could you make sure it's not stuck browser cache? Try a hard refresh.

Yes, I cleared all browser caches, and deleted everything in the MODX cache folder as well. I looked at the generated HTML to see if it was there but hidden, and I saw no button generated.

Hmmm I've just tested with MODX 3.1.0 and MagicPreview 1.4.1 but I can't seem to reproduce it unfortunately..

This is how it should look with the preview and arrow buttons.

• Have you got any other plugins active that customise the resource action buttons?
• Any errors showing in your browser console?
• What language have you got the manager in? ( Sometimes a button might not appear if a lexicon doesn't resolve)
