Backup and Sync Settings... does not work after update

I applied the Update to get the latest VS Code.

After the software update, I started VS Code and the Backup and Sync Settings dialog did not work. I get an error "no authentifcation providers are available". After I restarted VS code again then it worked.

This error should recommend restarting VS Code. Or the software update should handle this condition upon first start.
