Remote Login Error after update

The remote connection feature is asking for the operating system now, and fails to connect.
The error message is also strange.

Not sure it is related. But I can access my server and all is fine. Just VCS is not connecting anymore.

What version of the Remote SSH extension are using? Could you please include your Remote - SSH log and any relevant SSH configuration

That linked guide also shares how to validate SSH is working outside of VS Code. Please let me know if you're able to connect ok from your terminal.
