latest-release.json has not been updated in two months

It seems the release automation is not working properly, same issue as #6122.

latest-prelease.json is updating correctly, it's only latest-release that has the problem.

This is working correctly. 2024.12.1, which was released on 12/5/2024, is our most recent stable release. Everything since then has been prerelease.

Ah, sorry for the confusion. I mistakenly assumed that both prerelease and release were always updated together.

Our typical cadence is prerelease once per week and stable ("release") once per month. We only ship stable releases more frequently if we need to hotfix a problem in the previous stable release.
