This issue is currently awaiting triage.

SIG Docs takes a lead on issue triage for this website, but any Kubernetes member can accept issues by applying the triage/accepted label.

The triage/accepted label can be added by org members by writing /triage accepted in a comment.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes-sigs/prow repository.

Hello, thanks for improving Volume document.
It is helpful to me for understanding what volumes of Kubernetes is.

I saw the issue #42590, and I think this idea is also great.

Since volumes are important to users because of their persistence and shared storage, it would be helpful to reorder the list of volume types.
Instead of simply sorting alphabetically, I think it would be better to categorize the volumes into two main categories: ephemeral volumes (volumes that share the lifecycle with the pod) and persistent volumes (volumes with a lifecycle independent of the pod), and then sort them.
From the perspective of users utilizing the volumes, whether the persistence of the volume is guaranteed is an important consideration, so I believe this classification would be helpful to users.
