Необходимо сделать универсальный модуль комментариев, чтобы можно было использовать его работу с любой сущностью: будь то модуль, какая-то статья или событие.

Структура комментариев, думаю, должна быть в виде дерева (Nested Sets).

Сделал уже давно вполне рабочий вариант комментариев (работает на двух ресурсах, что сейчас в пре релизном состоянии). Для мультиязычности немного зависимостей есть с другим модулем, но без мультиязычности работает нормуль.
