Based on #3 issue. It's useful to take a stand-alone route that doesn't involve D's semantic analyzer in C code.

Omg thanks for all the work. I'm still rusty on embedded, but I could try to take a stab. It's been a few years since I did anything embedded, but more D in the world is always good (in my opinion) so with some guidance I think i could give it a stab.
