The readme mentions that there is an Apply while inactive option but I'm unable to find it, even after looking through the code. Did this get removed at some point? Either way, is there currently a way to have an AE that applies only to things in the aura and not to the source actor? I'm on swade if it matters.

These are both different options.

There are a number of options here, in the settings:

  • Remove Auras on Death
  • Remove Auras on hidden tokens
  • Auras in combat (only enables auras when combat runs).

If these don't cover your requirements for "Apply when inactive" can you explain what scenario you are trying to achieve?

For the last point, on the aura configuration you need to tick the "Ignore self?" option if you do not wish to apply the effect to the source actor.

I'm essentially trying to do the same thing as the debuff example i.e. a character has an effect on them that does not apply to them but does apply to characters in the aura.

If you're familiar with swade, I'm trying to implement the command edge which gives allied extras +1 to unshake and unstun rolls. This bonus does not apply to the character with the edge, only the extras around them.
