Adding 'Featured' Card(s) to your Church Center

This issue is to discuss the likely use-cases and proposed options for displaying a certain card (or cards) as featured in some way.

I'm interested to know user's feel will be helpful in order to profile certain cards with a little more emphasis. Thoughts?

In grid mode I would like a featured card to be double wide.
It might not be the first card on display.

This would allow us to display more info before a card icon is clicked.
It would also help special events like Christmas pop out.

So it would be double width in whichever position it were? Would you always expect it to be left-aligned, or just wherever it sits in the grid?

Also to clarify - at the moment the only content displayed is the title, and any image assigned to the card. Would you expect extra information to be displayed in some way?

Wherever it sat in the grid. If it had to be left aligned or first in the list for technical reasons, that wouldn't be too bad though.

Not extra information, knowing the image would be bigger we could design it more. Perhaps a sub title could be added though.
