Extension not working on drive videos, after the new update

After googled rolled out the latest controls update, I have been unable to use the extension to control the speed using the extension.

Same, the extension is "binded" to media player and I can only chcange the speed to max 2.0 by clicking in the interface (not by shotcuts and no more than 2.0)

This is not working for me either and is causing a damper on my studying. I hope this can be fixed soon!
