Ownership #68

I’ve tried to make this happen before but haven’t had any luck reaching
anyone at Hassle :( Unless we manage to reach someone, fixing this is tough.

The hassle organisation https://github.com/hvssle does not have any
members that I can see. I think we should transfer the repo to the
https://github.com/onfido organisation so ownership is clear and it sits
next to all the other client libraries.
Does anyone still have owner privileges? If so please reply with your
thoughts.

This gem first version was developed by Hassle developers, paid by Hassle, so the ownership is of Hassle. Hassle does not have any members since Hassle was acquired by Helpling 3 years ago already. I cannot think how the ownership might be any problem for the development of the gem. But I think keeping it the way it is, it is giving credit to the ones who decided to invest in the project and open source it. So if you are fine we can close this issue. |
The repository has MIT licence so it would be possible to just fork it and continue it's development under onfido. The only issue would be the gems naming change. |
