import rednotebook file with some additional logics

Not sure, if this is a valid request, but:
I have a huge rednotebook html file containing a diary and would like to import it into cherrytree, but not as is, instead into a structure with a node per year containing nodes for each month containing nodes for each day.
Furthermore I'd like to create the node structure for missing days automatically, i.e. when starting cherrytree on the 11th of January 2025, and the latest entry was for the 20th of December 2024, the missing nodes should be created automagically.
