desktop offline zip-manager:
Any detailed installation instructions for setting up desktop offline use?
Do I place the zip.js master in its own sub-directory inside zip-manager?
Thank you.

I'm sorry but I do not understand the question. The demo zip-manager is a PWA which can run offline. If you go to https://gildas-lormeau.github.io/zip-manager/ and disconnect the machine from the internet then the website will continue to work, as usual.

You can also "install" the PWA as a desktop application. The procedure to install the application depends on the browser you're using. See here for example:

Oh wow, that's super convenient (i.e. disconnect it).

Have you considered turning this "zip-manager" into a 'droplet' like a .jsx where the droplet is merely dragged over the key folder (which has all the html/css/etc) and released, and the droplet kicks out a final done epub3 (and has no 'save-as' function) ?
These are 'droplets' such as drag-n-drop as seen in Photoshop, etc.
A more modern term would be 'plugin' to existing software.

Make your zip-manager plugin (or droplet) independent of any particular software so that it can be utilized on a folder holding all the prepped xhtml/css/text/images/etc.

Or...alternatively, designing it so that it can be used in Sigil (and placing a fee on it by locking your zip-manager to Sigil). Sigil has dozens of various add-on plugins (some asking donation, some free). Site: (https://sigil-ebook.com/sigil).

That kind of independent droplet / plugin would be a worthy marketable item (even I'd $ for a plugin like that).
An example is David Blatner at DTP (dtptools.com) who sells JSX scripts for InDesign.

I'd highly suggest doing research into Sigil-ebook.com and chat with those software designers there to see if you can refine your zip-manager into a specialized niche marketable item there.

Thanks!
