Any plans to upgrade DB ?

Any plans to upgrade from postgress 12 to 17 ? It's too old and I keep getting notified of update..

Good question.

For the cloud version, we're on version 16. There is no reason why you can't switch to a newer version. Did you use a docker compose file as suggested here ?

You should be able to update that to use a newer version of postgres, and I'm pretty sure everything should just work. I think it would be a good idea to update the docs to suggest this too.

Just tread carefully if you change from 12 to 16 or 17 in the docker compose, it should be fine but I'd backup all the data first in case something bad happens with such a big version shift.

@mattwoberts Thanks updated to 17-bullseye and everything went well. Would be great if docker-compose was updated since most of us just copy n paste lol. Am not that knowledgeable in Docker. My journey just began a week ago..
