[BUG] Can't see apps on taskbar #457
Comments
so, this doesn't happen without Start11? |
There's no other option I think. Every UI works fine, except SeelenUI. (Start11, StartAllBack, etc.) |
do you have multimonitor setup? |
Yes, I have 2 monitors. Also my main one is ultrawide (3440x1440). |
is this not showing the apps on the dock on the other monitor?, like there's a option to shown only apps open on the monitor. |
No, it just not showing the apps on any monitor. When I open SeelenUI first time and do nothing, all apps shows properly. But as I open any new app or close once - all apps dissapear except a 1-3 apps until I reopen SeelenUI. |
check that settings, on by monitor and the dock too, also send me your log file to see what I could find. |
I redownloaded last version and seems that it works right now. I'll try to configure it and that thing with multimonitor apps. I'll reply soon, give me a sec. |
Seems that everything is works perfectly fine. I think we can close this issue. There's only bug with DesktopMate and Media Module not show anything. Also I found that I can't disable Fancy toolbar on second monitor. Maybe because they're both identifying as Generic PnP Monitor. But games found them different (I mean when I choose monitor for ex. in VALORANT there's each monitor name but there's none). |
Fancy toolbar fixed itself somehow, it's weird but still. Just was using my PC and it worked out o0 |
I don't know what causes this bug exactly, but I'm using Start11 app for Windows 11 24H2. Apps dissapear just when I open any or just hover over. I have ~6-7 apps opened while taskbar shows me only 3. Can't find even where I can pin apps on taskbar they "live on their own".
P.S. I can't uninstall Start11 cause of Start customization, I like how Start Menu looks, but I prefer Seelen UI more. Since I have few problems with it I can't use Seelen UI at all..
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
I'm expect that I can use my taskbar as Windows stock (ex. pin apps, see all opened and pinned at one time. Also having only opened apps on each monitor on taskbar)
Screenshots
As it looks on stock Windows with Start11
As it should look on Seelen UI
As it looks after opening any app once with Seelen UI
