After running mainnet for a while I see next data:
INFO[02-12|17:01:46.601] [txpool] stat pending-best=113 baseFee-best=30000 queued-best=20021 pending-all=226 baseFee-all=60000 queued-all=40042 all=100268 alloc=44.1GB sys=98.9GB

The number of transactions may vary, but it is clearly trending to increase over time.
