macOS: Change right click behavior on message text

On macOS, right clicking on certain parts of the message brings up the message context menu:

However, getting this to pop up is very precise because it requires you to not click on any text in the message, because that will instead select the word you're clicking on and bring up the text context menu, which is the standard action:

Unless text is already selected, always bring up the message context menu. This matches Messages.app behavior.
