I don't have any interest in continuing maintaining this gem now that I don't work at Shopify, but it is still a dependency of the identity_cache gem that seems to continue being maintained by Shopify. As such, I would expect Shopify would continue wanting this gem to be maintained.
I would like to archive this repo to reflect that fact that I'm not maintaining the repo, however, that would make the gem look abandoned and remove a place for issues and pull requests to be submitted for it. I could link to Shopify's fork of the gem, but it isn't up to date and is archived.
Solution
I had made Shopify an owner of the gem on rubygems.org, so they would be able to make a release without my involvement. However, the code has been stable enough that they don't appear to have needed to make any changes to it (at least publicly).

Assuming I'm right that Shopify would like to maintain this repo, could someone working there (e.g. @casperisfine) unarchive https://github.com/Shopify/ar_transaction_changes and push the commits from this repo there. After that, I can modify the README here to make it clear that the gem is now maintained at https://github.com/Shopify/ar_transaction_changes.
