We've recently observed an interesting point through one of our security analysis tools. It appears that goqu hasn't seen updates for about 18 months, and it seems the maintainers might not be actively engaged in responding to issues or pull requests.
Let me make it clear that our experience with goqu has been really positive. Currently, we're successfully using it in our production environment, and it has proven to be a valuable asset for our product. We're genuinely appreciative of the maintainers for establishing such a robust foundation for building Golang-based products with integrated databases.
That being said, we're looking to gain some clarity on a few matters:
Are there plans to keep maintaining this project, or would it be advisable for users to consider transitioning to an alternative solution?
If the project isn't slated for ongoing maintenance, would the authors be able to offer any suggestions for an alternative approach?
In the event that no alternative solution is suggested (this question is more directed to the community than to the authors), has there been any initiative to create a well-maintained fork?
If an actively maintained fork doesn't exist, is there any interest within the community or among the goqu maintainers in potentially passing on the maintenance responsibilities to a new entity?
We want to take this moment to express our gratitude for the remarkable effort you've put into this project. Please know that our inquiries are made with the utmost respect and curiosity - I hope this message conveys our intentions accurately!
Thanks!
Joel

I think it's safe to say that you won't get a response here. This has been a recurring issue in open source. I strongly encourage you to take the initiative and maintain your own fork, this project where it stands appears to have been abandoned.
