Updating the Readme file

A contributor's first interaction with our repo is through the readme file, displayed below the codes. Should we make it similar to the Wiki page, introducing the team and our project, or instead keep it simple and include only technical details, like how to set up the repo etc. ?

I'm still not totally familiar with GitHub best practices. What are your ideas?

I think it would be nice to include links to team member personal wiki pages.
