Reloading or trying to remove integration causes instability

I just upgraded to 2024.4.3 from 2024.3.x and I noticed when I tried to remove the integration so I could re-add it home assistant frontend hung. I had to restart home assistant.

This issue is likely due to something blocking the event loop in this integration. Additionally reloading the integration caused the same issue.

Due to 2024.4.3 being significantly faster than previous versions it's more likely these issues will occur that were previously hidden.
