I throw my iPhone 5s into dfu mode then I execute the exploit. The first time I execute the exploit, it fails. The second time I execute the exploit, it throws my device out of dfu mode, boots it up, and displays "no device found in dfu mode". This is a non-stop issue on both my Mojave iMac and High Sierra MacBook. But when I use my iPhone 8+ and execute the exploit, it fails the first time, second time, third time, fourth time, and so on. But my device stays in dfu mode and isn't kicked out of it like my 5s.

Some extensive debugging for this device has been logged in #96. Check this post for a solution. Mind that it can still take ~20 tries before it works.

Try upgrading to Catalina, I upgraded on my mac and it worked fine, (except it said my device wasn't supported.)
