Description: In the PerfMon Metrics Collector Listener of Apache JMeter, the "Metric to Collect" field appears as a regular text field and does not indicate that it is a dropdown until the user clicks on it. This behaviour can confuse users, as the dropdown functionality is not visually apparent.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Apache JMeter.
Add a Thread Group to the Test Plan.
Add a PerfMon Metrics Collector Listener to the Thread Group.
Observe the "Metric to Collect" field under the "Servers to Monitor" table:
The field looks like a standard text field.
Click on the field to reveal that it is a dropdown with multiple options.
Possible solution
The "Metric to Collect" field should visually indicate that it is a dropdown, even before the user interacts with it, improving usability and user experience.
