Thanks for writing this plugin, it is exactly what I have been looking for!
On to my question. I want to be able to separate out pieces of an input. There's two cases I really want for this:
When a paper has multiple authors, I'd like to be able to separate them out. In particular, because I have notes in my obsidian with titles of the form [[Last Name, First Name]], I'd like to make it so that the paper file automatically links to those. Is there a way to extract these pieces automatically when creating the note?
This is a similarly related question. I just jabref as my bibtex manager, and it has links to files in a given folder stored as an entry in the bibtex. An example of this is given below. This is a particularly long one since I have links to multiple versions of the file, separated by ;.
Since again these pdfs are in the same folder in my obsidian, I'd like to be able to automatically attach links inside the created note. I'd like to be able to automatically include [[Alexander2012-Thesis.pdf]], or better yet links to all of the pdf names.
Are either of these possible with the current implementation? I've tried playing around with my template but with no luck. TIA -Liz
