This happens sometimes with random psd files.
I can't really pinpoint why and when, or if it's my fault..

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this @Mindless73 and including your file (most helpful).
This is really interesting and happens in 2015.1.2 and 2015.5. Once I drag 12W USB Power Adapter (Netzteil)/White/1.png into the White sub-folder, the sub-directory and file are removed but as soon as I toggle that layer's visibility or rename it, it will render.
It looks like dragging that layer into a sub-folder doesn't update the render output for some reason.

@pineapplespatula if you get a chance, would you mind looking at this?

@chadrolfs You're very welcome.
The funny thing is, that in other files (with exactly the same structure as the attached file) it works as expected.
At times it even works in the beginning, but after working on the file it randomly starts to "bug out".

Hmmmm, it may have something to do specifically with the syntax in the layer name or folder name redundancy (being used in the folder group name and in the output path)?

Maybe. But shouldn't it always fail if it's a name redundancy problem?
It is really weird. Files that work flawlessly one day, fail on another day.
