Problem with upscaling

I have a problem with imagesharp that is upscaling the image without limits. How can I set a max size of the created file ?

I've updated the question now. I don't mean the size width and height but the actual size in MB of the file.

There is no way to tell codecs the maximum size. You need to run the actual encode operation on a stream to get the size. To keep it under control, you can play with the image dimensions and the encoder parameters. One possible solution could be to run the encoder and if the resulting file is too large, run it again with a smaller image and/or worse quality until it fits into the limit.

What format are you encoding to?

It's for all the format, I think I got it under control via AllocationLimitMegabytes but that's not a direct match.
There should be a limit of the file size instead for security reasons.

You can’t just make random statements like this as fact. Name me one other library that has configuration like that.
