I first had this issue when I upgraded my Mac Catalina to Big Sur about a month ago. I was able to eventually get it to start working by uninstalling and reinstalling the App and restarting my computer. It then took like 10 minutes for it to actually start working. Yesterday I had to restart my computer and noticed that the block wasn't working correctly yet again. I tried doing what I did last time and the issue hasn't been fixed. It's been hours. |

myanimelist.net I've followed all debugging procedures. I just noticed it today, I've had these on the list in a while, but I haven't opened any of them in a while, it's just when I revisited one did it reopen, and I found it odd, so I searched the web and read other issues, and noticed that people were having this issue and it was reported on GitHub, so I thought I would check other sites, and I had this list of sites that SelfControl didn't block. |

Over the past few weeks, SelfControl has often been blocking only roughly half the sites on my Blacklist. Some sites are still reliably blocked (e.g. Wikipedia) while others come and go. Restarting, clearing cache, and so forth does not always fix the problem but sometimes appears to. The problem started around the time I upgraded to Sequoia 15.1 though I am not 100% certain that the timing was exact. |

Same here, On the Zen browser which is based on Firefox it works perfectly fine. Issue being I don't use Zen every day I use Safari. Self Control doesn't block the website on my black list on Safari for whatever reason and I cannot find out why. |

Debugging Steps Before Adding a Site To This List
Summary (i.e. your situation)
Blocks generally work for me (websites are blocked properly), but this one specific website or service is still accessible. I'm on the latest version of SelfControl, double-checked that the site is on my blocklist, am not using a VPN/proxy, and have already tried clearing my browser cache. I've run multiple blocks and this behavior is consistent.
