River Discharge Calculations

MHKIT is unable to calculate river discharge from transect data. The software Winriver documents their process to interpolate the edges of the transect area discharge in pages 101-106 of this user guide:

Currently USGS VMT has Matlab code available for download that used similar techniques to calculate discharge.

Not sure if @browniea has made progress on this, but it shouldn't be a difficult lift. Testing could be difficult, depending on the data available.
