Option to Simplify Lightning Address to [[email protected]]

When I installed BTCPay Server, I couldn’t set it up on the main domain because my front page already hosts a website and other content.

To access my BTCPay instance, I use:

btcpay.domain.com

However, when creating a Lightning address, I’m limited to [email protected], which is longer than I’d like.

Is there a way to simplify this to just:

[email protected]

I tried to install btcpay server on a subfolder/subdirectory to see if i could avoid the subdomain but it's not possible. I'm going to request it over at the btcpay github section.

I've seen lots of users on nostr use their lightning address but it also has the btcpay.domain.com I bet they would love to just use only the domain part as well.
